Introduction to the database

Why a database of translocal networks?

This database of translocal networks serves to inform networks about the existence of other similarly minded networks they can collaborate with, as well as for initiatives to learn and be inspired in their own processes of network formation. The database also allows for researchers to explore the breadth and depth of translocal networking for just sustainability transitions.

In addition to this database of translocal networks, the Just Sustainability Transitions in Cities research network is working on a more comprehensive database on Google Sheets, which will serve to provide more information of networks for research purposes.

Call to co-creation

This database was created with the idea of enabling networks and other makers and thinkers to share and access their knowledge on networks. This database isn't created with the sole purpose of serving researchers, but to enable networks to share and access ideas, to become aware of other networks of similar interests and to open opportunities for collaboration and learning. We are asking you to participate in this knowledge co-production in order for us all to have access to a database for the sharing of information and knowledge and to enable connections and collaboration.
